I am James Hardiman, The Happy Walker, and I have been Walking For Happiness for over 40 years, all the time researching, learning and perfecting, so now I can help you to Walk For Happiness, too.
Have you ever been really down? So low you can’t do the stuff you know you should do to get yourself out of the pits? Me too. People would tell me that I should do this or do that process to clear the fear, or lift the depression, or relieve the anxiety, but I would be too low to do it.
I have enjoyed walking for years, but never made the connection that I could use walking to get out of the pits until I discovered the idea of walking for happiness.
Everyone tells you that “Going for a walk will do you good” … but will it?
Walking for Happiness gives you the Why, How, Where, When, What and Who of walking to regain your “Positive Resource State” … the state of mind where anything and everything becomes possible.
Using the methods described here, I have:
- Lost 100 lbs (45 kg)
- Cured depression
- Made myself more intelligent (yes, really!)
- Come to understand myself
- Found the woman of my dreams
- Found a way to lasting happiness
All that from “Walking a Certain Way” as Wallace Wattles might have said (and if you don’t already know, I’ll tell you who he was, too).
If you would like to know how to Walk for Happiness, please get in touch with me through the contact page.

Walking For Happiness

Hi, Kathryn, looks like you and I are on the same wavelength here.
I can vouch for walking clearing pain … and diabetes. I was Type II diabetic, and had moderate diabetic neuropathy of my feet. By the time I’d walked about 200 miles, it was completely cured (both the diabetes, and the neuropathy).
James, The Happy Walker (and getting rid of pain will certainly cheer you up).
Hi James,
Good job improving your health and happiness! I have a very strong proponent in walking to improve health. Sometimes people have little (or slightly bigger) aches and pains that prevent them from walking
but you know what? We can actually “walk away from our pain.” I offer a free report about walking at http://WalkingSmart.com
Keep up your good work and keep on walking! Great job taking charge of your life, health and happiness!
Kathryn
